It all started with a simple batch of sugar cookies, a DSLR camera I barely knew how to use, and a desire to create and share something from my heart.
Back in April of 2015, I sat down, opened up a blank blog page in WordPress, wrote out my first blog post, and hit publish on a (very simple) smoothie recipe. Little did I know I was stepping into what would become one of the most important and meaningful parts of my life. This little blog.
And now, ten years later, here we are! A decade of cookies, crochet projects, and Christmas trees, and so many stories from my kitchen to yours.
This little corner of the internet has grown into something I never could’ve imagined. It’s been through so many seasons of life with me—it’s taken breaks, been revived, given me purpose as my children grew up and moved out, and most importantly, it’s brought you into my world, which is truly the best part of all of this.
So today, I’m celebrating the only way I know how—by saying a big (and heartfelt) thank you! And by giving one of you the chance to win one of my absolute favorite kitchen tools—a Lodge Cast Iron Dutch Oven!
