For as long as I can remember, I’ve found joy in the little things that make a house feel like a home—baking a fresh batch of cookies, crocheting a handmade blanket, or simply decorating for the holidays. These simple, but heartfelt activities have always brought me a sense of happiness and fulfillment, and I wanted to create a space where I could share that with others.

The name Kristine in Between reflects the balance I strive for in my life—the sweet spot between the everyday hustle and the special moments worth celebrating. It’s about finding beauty in the ordinary and adding a touch of festivity to even the simplest of days.

For me, this place, Kristine in Between, is so much more than just a website; it really is a reflection of my heart and soul. It’s a place where I can express my creativity, share the things I love, connect with others, and most of all, inspire a sense of warmth and festivity.

So, whether you’re here for a new recipe, an easy craft project, or just a bit of holiday cheer, c’mon in—I’m so grateful you’re here!

FAQ

I originally started hobby blogging in 2009. My first blog was called The Pink Sprinkle and I shared mostly personal posts and recipes I grew up eating (and loving).

In 2015 I expanded and moved over to Kristine in Between, where I started blogging about all of my passions professionally. I realized I loved the recipe development and photography just as much as I did the writing—Kristine in Between really took off from there.

For me, it’s all about creating a warm, inviting home, filled with the little joys that make life so special. Whether it’s whipping up a batch of easy sugar cookies, diving into a cozy crochet project, or decking the halls with Christmas decor in July, I try to share ideas that bring comfort and celebration into everyday life.

Homey living is about those simple, heartfelt moments—like gathering around the table for a homemade meal or crafting something beautiful with your own hands. Festive living, on the other hand, is all about embracing the joy and excitement of holidays and special occasions, making them memorable through thoughtful details.

I hope to inspire you to find joy in both the everyday and the extraordinary, creating a life that’s both homey and festive.
