About me

Creating a Home That Feels Like Something

If you’ve ever decorated for a holiday a little too early, made breakfast for dinner, or rearranged your furniture just because…you’re probably in the right place.

This is where I share the recipes, traditions, and homemaking ideas that have become part of my everyday life, and I hope they’ll become part of yours, too.

Behind the Blog

Meet Kristine

Around here, you’ll find the recipes I make on repeat, practical homemaking ideas that make life easier, and plenty of holiday inspiration because, let’s be honest, if there’s a holiday, I’m probably decorating for it (too soon, haha).

I’ve always believed it’s the simple things that make a house feel like home. A favorite recipe, a clean kitchen, fresh flowers from the grocery store, cookies on a random Tuesday, or pulling out the holiday decorations just because they make you smile.

I don’t think you need a magazine-worthy house or complicated recipes to create a home you love. Most days, I’m just trying to get dinner on the table, keep up with the laundry, and enjoy the everyday moments in between.

I hope you’ll stick around, explore a few recipes, and join my community too. Come say hi.

FAQ

I started blogging back in 2009 with my first site, The Pink Sprinkle. It was a place to share everyday life and the recipes I grew up with and didn’t want to lose track of.

In 2015, I created Kristine in Between as a more intentional space that still felt personal, a place where I could share recipes, writing, photography, and my life.

Over time, it’s become what it is now, a collection of simple recipes, familiar favorites, holiday inspiration, and the kind of homemaking that makes a house feel lived in and loved.

Nothing complicated. Nothing overdone. Just the things you come back to, again and again.

I’m really glad you’re here. 🫶🏻
