It’s a New Year!
Happy New Year! Like everyone else I know, I spent some time reflecting on the past year and thinking about this new one. What was really good about last year and what would I change? What goals do I have for the coming year. As a person? A blogger? A photographer? Lots of stuff to ponder.
2015 was a pretty good year, but with two moves and a new house, it was a super busy one.
I didn’t do everything I said I was going to either (I know, get in line, right?), but I did do some unexpected things! I had big plans for this blog, but ended up focusing more on my photography and making that into a part-time business, which is a pretty much a dream come true. My hope is that in 2016, I can find balance between the two and be able to do them both, well.
The other goal I have is a more personal one, to be true. True to myself and true to you. I want to be authentic and sincere with my words and stand up for the things I believe in, even if it’s not always the easy road. I want to write more often and more from the heart.
I hope to live positive in 2016 and encourage the people in my life in positive ways (including you!). I want to feel proud of myself, in my successes and in my mistakes (and there will be mistakes, haha). I want to learn new things and grow in a big way; and I want to share my journey.
Happy New Year again, my friends. Thank you for following along and supporting me in all of my endeavors. May the new year bring you health and happiness as well as new possibilities and new experiences! Cheers! Let’s do 2016!
