This easy crochet ear warmer is the perfect little project if you only have an hour or so!
This winter I just didn’t have it in me to make another afghan. I wanted to, but it seemed too overwhelming and the days just flew by, so instead I worked on several smaller (but still uber simple) projects! I’ve been making giant afghans for so long now that I had forgotten how nice it is to sit down to crochet a while and actually complete a project!
This easy crochet ear warmer quickly became one of my favorite projects. It was so fun to crochet and there was hardly any counting. This headband came together really quickly, which is a total win in my book!
Unfortunately though, I can’t take the credit for pattern for this easy crochet ear warmer because I got pattern for the band here and the pattern for the flower here, but I did combine the two to make the cutest crochet ear warmer EVA!
I chose to make this easy crochet ear warmer in gray, because, well that’s the color yarn I had on hand and because gray pretty much matches everything, but I absolutely loved the teal color from the pattern post, so maybe I’ll make that next. If you’re not a fan of the flower, just skip it – the band is adorable even on it’s own. In fact, I made a plain one for myself to take skiing! And if you want to really jazz it up, instead of a plain button, use an antique or fancy button!
So that’s the first of my easy crochet projects for this winter, but keep an eye out for a coffee mug warmer and a simple scarf, coming to the blog really soon! Let me know how your crocheting is going, whatcha working on?
*A big thanks to my beautiful girl, Hannah-Bee for modeling this ear warmer for me.
