1/4cupsalted butter(to use unsalted butter, add 1/4 tsp salt)
10ozmini marshmallows(1 package)
5cupFruity Pebbles Cereal
Instructions
In a large glass (or microwave safe bowl) heat the salted butter and marshmallows in the microwave on high for 1 minute.
1/4 cup salted butter, 10 oz mini marshmallows
Remove and stir vigorously until melted smooth, making sure to mash the marshmallows down. If needed, continue heating in 15 second increments until the marshmallows are fully melted.
Stir in the Fruity Pebbles Cereal and mix well to evenly coat all of the cereal.
5 cup Fruity Pebbles Cereal
Spread cereal mixture into an 8 x 8 pan (or similar, it doesn't have to be square).
Allow the bars to cool for at least 30 minutes or place in the fridge for 15 minutes before slicing into 9 equal-size bars.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Notes
*To freeze Fruity Pebbles Krispie treats, wrap them well with Saran Wrap or wax paper and place in a large freezer Ziplock bag. Freeze for up to 3 months. To thaw, let the bars sit at room temperature for at least 1 hour before opening and serving.
