(not quick-cooking)

raspberry preserves
(heaping cup)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line or grease an
8 x 8 baking pan
.
In a large glass bowl, melt butter and allow to cool for a minute or two.
Add brown sugar, vanilla, and sea salt and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved and smooth.
Stir in flour and rolled oats. Mix until well combined.
Reserve 1/2 cup of the oat mixture for the topping. Press remaining oats into the bottom of a greased baking pan and pat smooth.
Cover oats with 1 heaping cup of raspberry preserves and spread it evenly. Jam should be 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.
Sprinkle the reserved 1/2 cup oats in crumbles evenly over the jam.
Bake for 25 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through.
Allow bars to cool completely in the pan, then carefully slice and serve.
