Instructions
In a small bowl, mix spices for the rub.
Chop onion and place in the bottom of the crockpot.
Place the roast on top of the onion and cover with rub.
Mix chicken broth and balsamic vinegar and pour in the bottom of the crockpot.
Cover roast and rub with applesauce.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
