Ingredients
1/2cupunsalted butter, room temperature
1/4cupsugar
1/2cupbrown sugar
1egg
1tspvanilla extract
1/2tspsea salt
1/2tspbaking soda
1-1/4cupsflour
1/2cup+chocolate chips, semi-sweet
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth.
Add egg and vanilla extract and stir.
Stir in baking soda and sea salt.
Slowly add flour, half at a time mixing until fully incorporated.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Using a 1.5 TBS cookie scoop, scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, rotating halfway through.
Allow cookies to sit on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Store in an airtight container for up to one week or freeze.
Notes
*The recipe calls for a minimum of 1/2 cup chocolate chips, feel free to add up to 1 cup of any chip variety.**Cookie dough may also be frozen. Thaw completely and bring to room temperature prior to baking.
