Easy Halloween Cookies
Easy Halloween cookies that require no rolling and are ready in 30 minutes!

- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1-1/4 cup flour
- Sprinkles or colored sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl cream butter and sugar together until smooth.
Stir in baking soda, cream of tartar, and sea salt.
Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
Add the flour, half at a time and mix well. Do not over-mix.
Using a 1 TBS cookie scoop, scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets 2 inches apart.
Sprinkle the tops of each cookie with sprinkles.
Bake for 12-14 minutes, rotating halfway through until just barely brown around the edges.
Let cookies cool completely on the baking sheet.
Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze.
