Whole Wheat Peanut Butter Banana Muffins
Perfectly soft and moist muffins with peanut butter, banana, and chocolate chips. Perfect for breakfast or a treat!
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups white whole wheat flour
- 3-4 mashed bananas (the more ripe the better!)
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line muffin pan.
Cream butter and sugar together until smooth.
Add eggs, one at a time and mix well.
Stir in baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add milk and mix well.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Fold in mashed bananas and chocolate chips.
Scoop batter into muffin pan, filing 2/3 full.
Bake 30-35 minutes, rotating halfway through.
Cool on wire rack and store in an airtight container.
