Hi there, I’m Kristine, it’s so nice to meet you!
I’m the 40-something, cookie baking, photo taking, fitness loving gal behind this blog.
You’ll find lots of cookie recipes here, because cookies are totally my jam, but you’ll also find tons of other simple and wholesome recipes, easy craft projects and crochet patterns, and I tend to talk about nutrition and fitness, a lot!
This blog is all about balance. In fact, I’m a firm believer in balancing my sugar cookies with my strength training!
And if you’re curious about my blog name, I wrote all about it here. It explains a lot, I promise!
You can almost always find me in the kitchen baking up a small batch of cookies, crocheting a simple afghan, photographing something or someone, or down on the floor working on my pushups (which I can actually do now – BOOM!).
Oh, and Christmas decor is also my thing! You should see my tree!
Now for the specifics…
I live in Queen Creek, Arizona with my husband Jay and our two girls, Madilynn (age 21) and Hannah (age 18) and yes it really is a dry heat!
In addition to running this cookie and lifestyle blog, I also have a photography business, Kristine Elizabeth Photography. I’m a self-proclaimed ‘everything’ photographer, but photographing cookies and documenting life’s littlest moments are my two faves.
I also love mornings, and tiny dogs, and black coffee, and yoga.
Why I blog…
Blogging is my creative outlet. It allows me to do all of my favorite things with one purpose. I can talk about whole food and workouts, cook/bake, photograph, and best of all, connect with people who like what I like (my people!).
I’ve found that writing this blog allows me to inspire people to find balance (and happiness) in life and that you guys, that’s what I’m all about! Making friends and inspiring people, in any way I can!
I’m always on Instagram too, make sure to join the fun ?? Kristine in between on Instagram
Now that’s enough about me! Let’s do this!
