Every Monday I try to sit down and get a plan for the week together. Lately; however, I’ve not been doing so well, so I’m trying out a new tactic. Blogging. I’m calling it my coffee break and hopefully making it a ‘thing’ will help me stay motivated to write and get some things down.
Just a warning though, these coffee break posts may be a little random and will probably contain everything from my weekly to-do list to personal ramblings.
First of all, if you haven’t visited my little corner of the web in a while, it might look a little different than when you were last here. That’s right, it was time to freshen things up a bit! KIB had been rocking the same (food based) layout for YEARS and I was ready for something fresh and new, something a little more me.
So, I revamped the whole site over the weekend! The internal structure is still the same, so you should be able to find things they way you always did in the categories and such, but the new colors and design are much more my style. I feel at home here again!
As far as this week goes, it’s shaping up to be a busy one. Hannah is working on some college credits at the Community College during the month of June and has had more homework with that than she does with high school. She passed her driving test on Friday too, so she’s officially a licensed driver, which is both terrifying and awesome! Madilynn will be spending some time with my mom, of course. We are all heading to the White Mountains this weekend too, so I’ve got lots of planning and prep for that. I cannot wait to get away for a few days with my people!

This week, I’m feeling thankful for summer break. I really enjoy having my girls around more and getting to spend some time just hanging out with them.
May your coffee be strong and your Monday be short!
